Our sustainability strategy Future-proof For the next generations The Krombacher Brewery is characterised by a strong commitment to social issues as well as to environmental protection and nature conservation. We have already achieved a lot with our numerous sustainable measures and activities, but like all companies, we are also facing major challenges: Global warming, the loss of biodiversity and a significant shortage of resources - these global changes are increasingly influencing our business. A sustainable transformation of our business processes and the reduction of CO 2 emissions (decarbonisation) are among our demanding challenges for the coming years. We want to position Krombacher as a sustainable and future-oriented family business for the next generations in such a way that we always act for the benefit of people and nature. In doing so, we are guided by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations. In 2011, we developed our sustainability house with six fields of action based on the SDGs. 6
