Environment The Krombach valley New habitat for native flora and fauna As a company that acts sustainably, actively taking responsibility for the environment and nature in our home region is a matter of course for us. The most recent project: renaturation of the Krombach valley in the immediate vicinity of the brewery. By the way: The Krombach valley is not the only nature conservation project that we support. Together with local partners, we support regional projects throughout Germany, including measures for water protection and reforestation. Rainforest project Protection of the Dzanga-Sangha Nature Reserve We have been protecting the unique natural paradise of Dzanga-Sangha in Central Africa since 2002. The species population has developed positively since then. In addition to forest elephants and lowland gorillas, also forest buffaloes, antelopes, leopards and hippos are feeling at home. This success shows how important and effective the protective measures are, which are locally taken against illegal logging and poaching.
