HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED IN THE THE PANDEMIC? 2021, we have set up a vaccination centre on the premises of the “Krombacher Erlebniswelt”. There, over 15.500 vaccinations against the Corona virus could be administered to Krombacher employees, their relatives and the population of our home region. The vaccinations were carried out by familydocs, the joint practice Mertens I Dr. Dr. Adarkwah & Partner from Kreuztal-Krombach. The Krombacher brewery provided organisational support as well as the premises and staff free of charge to carry out the vaccinations. SINCE LAST YEAR YOU SUPPORT THE INITIATIVE „DEPOSIT BELONGS NEXT TO IT“ WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT? 180 million Euros worth of deposit bottles end up in the rubbish every year. This is not only bad for the environment, it also makes it difficult for deposit bottle collectors to collect them. We think that deposit bottles do not belong in the rubbish bin, but next to it. That‘s why we support the initiative „Deposit belongs next to it“ (“Pfand gehört daneben”). In addition to communicating on our social media channels, the „Deposit belongs next to it“ logo is also displayed on our back label, to draw attention to this important initiative. 26
