CONSUMERS Our consumers are at the centre of our thoughts and actions. We therefore focus on consistent consumer orientation, the highest product quality, product innovation and responsible communication. The responsible use of alcohol is particularly close to our hearts. RESPONSIBLE COMMUNICATION – WHAT DOES THAT MEAN IN CONCRETE TERMS? To meet our responsibility towards our consumers, we have been part of the Advertising Control Committee since 2009 and thus rely on the voluntary commitment to certain rules of conduct. This means, for example, that we do not address children and youngsters with our communication measures. In addition, we point out moderate consumption on our alcoholic products and clearly position ourselves against alcohol abuse. As a member of the German Brewers Association and together with other initiatives, we support clear guidelines against alcohol abuse. 22 22
HOW ARE YOU RESPONDING TO THE CONSUMER DEMAND FOR NON-ALCOHOLIC ALTERNATIVES? We have seen an increased interest in alcohol-free beers for years. That‘s why we started looking at alcohol-free alternatives at an early stage and now stock seven alcohol-free varieties with different flavours. In the meantime, non-alcoholic products already account for 38% of our output in the Krombacher Group and we are constantly working to increase this figure. DID YOU KNOW? Consumers can contact us in many different ways. Whether on the phone, by mail or letter and on social media channels: Our colleagues in the Costumer Care Team listen to the concerns of our community every day. HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR COMMUNITY UP TO DATE? Every day, we receive numerous enquiries from consumers. It is important to us to actively inform our community. In regular newsletters, we write about our latest sustainability commitments, product offers, company news and much more. Here we can filter by topics to inform each newsletter subscriber according to their interests. 23 23
